Ol' Rex

My best friend in elementary school. Ft. Worth, TX. In the hollow behind his house, Rex and I shot our BB guns, trapped rabbits, caught tadpoles, dug caves, and saved each other. Then his family moved to KS and I saw him one last time. I was sad when Rex and Connie and his folks moved away but I had no idea how much I loved him.

Thank You

Dear Captain Rex Craig,
Thank you for your service as an Infantry Officer. You were born on my granddad's birthday. Say hi to him, his name is Benny. It is Presidents' Weekend, and good time to remember those who serve. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
