Sergeant James Larry Craig was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to A CO, 5TH BN, 7TH CAVALRY, 1ST CAV DIV.

Thank your for your service as as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. You passed on my dad's birthday. Say hi to him, his name is Sam. It is Presidents' Weekend, and good time to remember those who serve. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
