Thank You

Dear Sgt Harold Craft,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is Presidents' Weekend, and good time to remember those who serve. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

RTO together

Harold taught me the patience to speak on the radio. In that way we were able to assist in our brothers requests. With him and Roger Olstrom being senior rto's I followed their leads. I felt close to both of them. Some years back I visited with his parents.

Harold Craft

What a great friend. Harold and his twin sister, Carol, were part of a special group of friends that I was so happy to be part of while at Stockbridge High School. We all went in different directions after graduation, but a few of us continued our friendship by sending letters to each other. Harold's were the best...so funny and clever. Such excellent memories and such an extreme loss when Harold was gone. He will never be forgotten.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Harold Glen Craft, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
