Andy I miss you brother , Bob or "Andy" short for Anderson as we called him was one of the best men in my platoon. I was hit in operation Julie on the 26th of October 1968 so I wasn't there when he died in December but was notified by my RTO in the 249 medevac hospital in Japan. Andy and Jesus where killed together that day.

Dear SGT Robert Keith Anderson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
