My Squad Leader
Rube Cox was my Squad Leader. He was leading a point squad on 1/27/1968 and we walked into a VC ambush while crossing a dry nice paddy. He was one of the first men to get hit and died on the battlefield. He was a good man and was well respected by all of us in the second platoon of A/3/22 of the 25th Inf. Div. May he rest in peace.
