Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Lawrence Cornel Covington, for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and your most holy sacrifice, given to this great country of ours!

Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore Marine, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!

Hi Larry. It's been a long time. I remember the day you died.Your dog started wailing, like she knew. Later the telegram came. My grandmother went next door to comfort your mother. We all cried. We still miss you. I enlisted in the Corps a couple years later. Thanks for taking care of me. Semper Fi, brother.

You might not know me, but you can see what I am doing. So since you know, then you can also see that I am honoring what you have done for all Americans.
