On Nov. 8, 2022 at 3:24 p.m. It will be my honor to announce PFC'S Karl H Couk's name during the 'Reading of the Names' in Washington D.C. It is important to me that I pronounce his name correctly and honor him as he deserves. Any help with the pronunciation of his last name would be immensely appreciated.

Private First Class Karl Henry Couk, Served with Company I, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

Hope that you and Flora and Goins and Holycross and Butsko are all together again.

I think of you often, Karl. I remember the trips you made to NJ after you got you drivers license. You traveled the "Skucky Hill Expressway" to get here. I miss your warm, funny personality. Your life was ended far too soon. I am so very proud of you, you were a good and honorable man.

Memories of you and your loving mother Rita. You were a devoted worker at Cindy's Market. Your quiet and easy going personality will never be forgotten. Thank you for your sacrifice.
