You made proud my Cousin!
I am sorry that I never had the chance to meet you Robert. But my Dad "Big George" your cousin told me all about you. Because of you I joined the US Army, and went to (Aviation Maintenance School) at Fort Rucker, AL. You are my hero and I will never let any of the Cottman's forget about you and what you did for us and this Country.

When we were kids!
Robert Lee and I grew up in the country (10miles out of town). I knew his large family. His Mother helped many families in that area whenever any needed her. My grandfather had a little grocery store nearby. I visited her often and we spoke of Robert. His family was very proud of him and, of course, saddened when he died.
