Thank You

Dear Lcpl Robert Cottenier,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Robert William Cottenier, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Rememberence to my

Many years I've searched, all the tears I've cried, twas the day I found you, they told me you died. These are true words to you my brother Bob, we were both adopted by different parents are never got to know each other, but the day I found you even though you had died, I knew you were there. Now years later, I find you again but in different ways, I have your picture, your remembrences left by your friends, I see how they loved you when you were alive just in what they said. I miss you terribly, but even finding you gone still fills my heart with love for YOU are my HERO. Some day we will be reunited forever.

Your sister Linda

Rest in peace my love.
