The passage of time
It's been 6 weeks since Aunt Karen joined you. I found some old pictures and the tears began to flow again. I had forgotten how much time I spent with Aunt Karen growing up. I know that you two are together now and she is happy.

You will not be alone anymore
Uncle Larry, it's been awhile since I came here. You are always in my heart and memories. Today, Aunt Karen went to join you in heaven. Don't worry I will take care of your son and walk with him through. Family sticks together no matter what. I still cherish the picture of us when you took my teddy bear. It was our last one together.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

Another year.
Uncle Larry:
I am back again. Memorial Day is on us and I think of you often. I wonder what you would think of this country right now. The division has gotten greater. You gave the ultimate sacrifice: your life. You missed out on you son, grandchildren and now your great grand son. He is such a character, already roller skating. I know that you are watching over them. Please be Michele's special angel. She needs one so badly. She is so special to me. Another angel joined you. Great Aunt Louella left us at 101 years old. It seems that each year our family in Heaven gets bigger. Love you always.

50 Years
Hi Uncle Larry,
It's been almost 50 years since you left us. So much has changed. You are a great-grandpa to Braxton. Or as we call him B. The funny thing is, he looks like you. You would love him. Two more angels have joined you:Aunt Laura 3 years ago and Uncle Cal just 2 months ago. This country is so different now, more divided, and it's sad. You have everything. I miss you.
