and beauty belong to our world

We feel lucky to have seen it.

You were my hero,my mentor,my friend.I will always remember the night before your last mission,telling me how to become a better marine,always teaching.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

I have proudly worn this silver bracket since 1993. My children ask me if the marks it makes in my arm hurt, I say yes sometimes the do. Then why do you wear it, my small nagging pain is a small reminder that freedom is not free and my pain is but a fraction of the pain families and our fallen have experienced as POW, injured or when they have gave all for our freedom and liberties.
