I was in your unit and was supposed to go out on the same sweep that day. They pulled me at the last minute. They wanted an E-5 not an E-2 so they sent a Sgt Riley in my place. When it was over they brought the gear of all who died from our unit during that operation and told me to put it back in stock. I saw the names on the back packs. I don't remember meeting you but heard about you. You were a good Marine. I included your name in a song I wrote called BIG BLACK WALL.
