THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just four days before your 22nd birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

I was just listening to something about the 173rd on TV and couldn't help but to check out the memorial, your picture brought a flashback as clear as day, we were in back yard at "Uncle" Will's, and you were showing me how to strip the limbs off the bamboo that grew there, I wasn't strong enough to do it, then we all went fishing. I also remember the day dad announced you were MIA, I was sitting in the kitchen, tough time for everyone, but I've never forgotten you!
