Thank You

Dear PFC James Cooper,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Long ago friend

I was in elementary school as well as high school with Jimmy Cooper. He was an unassuming young man, kind to one and all, and of impeccable character. As so many others have, he left this world entirely too young.

Big brother, you were the best

He was the oldest of six kids and often left in charge while both our parents worked. He was a good cook and made us cookies and treats also sometimes made dinner. He also worked a part time job. He loved people and loved church. Often he would take elderly people to church other wise they would not be able to get there. He was a great big brother. I often wonder what he would become if he had a chance to live longer my guess would be either a football coach or a preacher because those were his two greatest passions.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC James William Cooper, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
