Thank You

Dear Sp4 Gary Cooper,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Combat Engineer. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Gary Robert Cooper, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Angel Day

You will never be forgotten by this American girl.

Your life was full of honor, devotion, and love for your country. The sacrifice of your precious life was not and will not be in vain.

You have and will be a source of all that is good for generations to come. This is evident in the messages that the youth of America leave on your remembrance sites.

You are not merely a name engraved on a granite wall -- you were and are a son, a brother, a husband, a grandson, a father, an uncle, a nephew, and a friend. You are real and as long as I live you will never be forgotten.

God bless you and your family on this your angel day.

Rest well now -- I will see on the other side.
