He coached my husband’s junior varsity football team at Keystone Heights School. They had a perfect season.

I didn't know Gary, but I grew up in Keystone Heights and knew his name from the field named in his honor. I visited the wall in Washington DC today and found his name. All the service members like Gary Cooper who gave their lives for my freedom have my utmost respect and my heart goes out to all their loved ones.

Thank you Gary for your service and sacrifice to our nation.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from your high school classmate Bruce Moon and others who knew you are poignant and attest to their admiration and respect for you. May you rest in eternal peace.
