Remembering a friend that I never met.
When I learned that the man on my original POW bracelet returned home, I replaced his with one bearing your name. When it broke, I contacted the National League of Families to order a new one. They put me in touch with your mother and I wrote her a letter and received a beautiful note in return. I am a former Soldier and Marine and wear your bracelet often. Maybe someday we will meet. Until then I will lift a cold one in your honor whenever the mood strikes. Semper Fi, Captain.
