Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I am 72 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

I think of you often. Never know when something is going to trigger a thought and then a smile from that thought. It can be someone who looks like you, a HS friend mentioning something about our Viet Nam losses, driving while hearing old songs (especially Elvis's "Can't Help Falling in Love"), or even the birthdate that you and my sister shared, and you pop into my brain. I loved you so much.

May this day find you in the eternal Holy Kingdom!
May each day be better than the day before!
May we as Americans never forget the sacrifice you and so many others have made!
America is good & great !
