My First Cousin, gone too soon

I was only 3 years old when my cousin, Francis, was killed. I pray one day we may meet again. Through the years I have heard so many stories about you, I just wish I was older and was a part of the stories.
I have been to the Vietnam Wall more than once. The first time I visited it, I located your name and etched over it and then sent it to Uncle Al. My children know who you are and how you made the ultimate sacrifice. You will never be forgotten.
The past two years I was asked to do the Benidiction at our Annual CYC Flag Raising Cermony, on Memorial Day Weekend. I began my prayer telling a little about you. I mentioned you by name, rank, age, time in service and location of the ultimate sacrifice one can give.
Francis, continue to watch over all of us. Please give AJ, Uncle Al, and Aunt Rose a hug and tell them I miss them.
Love,
Mary Colleen

We Will Remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
