Not Forgotten

I have not forgotten you. I chair the Adoption Committee for The National League of Families of Prisoners of War and Missing in Action in Southeast Asia. We will always remember the 1,889 Americans still unaccounted for in Southeast Asia and the thousands of others that lost their lives. We will not stop our efforts until all of you are home where you belong.

We need to reach the next generation so that they will carry on when our generation is no longer able. To do so, we are attempting to locate photographs of all the missing. If you are reading this remembrance and have a photo and/or memory of this missing American that you would like to share for our project, please contact me at:

My brother, you will always be missed but what you did to serve your country will never be forgotten. Just like me, a soldier, he followed orders. God bless you. Sgt. Mark Vogel US Army Infantry.

Gratitude for a Blessed Servant

Lorenza Conner was an undergraduate student at Tuskegee University, Alabama, where he attended Air Force ROTC. He was a very quiet gentleman with a smile. I believe he majored in Electronics from 1960-64, and graduated with the rank of 2Lt. Retired Admiral Mack Charles Gaston, U.S. Navy, also a Tuskegee University Graduate, 1963-64, from Dalton, Georgia, was a fellow classmate of Captain Conner, a phantom jet pilot.
Thank you for allowing these words of remembrance for a very fine citizen who gave his life for our country.

May God continue to be with him and his family.
