Ground Casualty

PFC Sylvester E. Conley was an Airborne-qualified infantryman serving with 2nd Platoon, A Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. On March 10, 1968, PFC Conley died in Thua Thien Province, RVN, where he was reportedly murdered by Vietnamese civilians in the vicinity of Phu Bai. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org and vvmf.org]
