It's been 53 years since you've been gone, but it's like yesterday for me. My heartache is still there as is my love. I know we would have had a wonderful life together like we talked about and we would have loved each other with everything we had. I still love you and you're in my heart forever.

PFC Arthur E. Comstock Jr. was a rifleman serving with C Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On August 31, 1966, CPL Comstock died in Quang Nam Province, RVN, where he reportedly succumbed to pneumonia. Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is 2018, Happy New Year, and it is the 11th Day of Christmas. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
