William Edward Barager, Sr.
William Edward Barager Sr, Bill, was born 1 October 1950 and died 1 August 2017. Bill served in the United States Marine Corps from 1967-1971 (some missions not listed on DD214). Bill had three children, whom he loved. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, and playing Santa, he also enjoyed his trips to D.C.; where he would visit the Vietnam Wall and share in moments of silence with his brothers in Arms. Bill rarely spoke of his time in Vietnam, but he always stood for freedom, honored those who served, and showed his patriotism. Like many others, Bill was not welcomed home with open arms. It is an honor to be able to offer the recognition he, and so many other Vietnam veterans deserve. Dad, thank you for your service, for teaching us to love, respect, and protect the freedoms of our country. Thank you Dad, we love you.
