Biography
David Lee Foster was born January 26, 1947 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Harry and Dorothy (Casteel) Foster. He graduated from Iowa Valley Community High School, Marengo, Iowa. David served in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Nancy Jo Miller in Marion, Iowa. David was employed in copy systems repairs at Office Enterprises and Cedar Rapids Photo Copy, both, Cedar Rapids, He was a member of American Legion Post 298, Marion and VFW Post 788, Cedar Rapids, the Marine Corp League, Sons of the American Revolution and was a licensed amateur radio operator.
