Bruce Arndt was born March 5, 1946. He grew up in Stanhope, New Jersey. After high school he attended Villanova. After a year, he became homesick and transferred to Bloomfield College to be closer to home. We were married in December of 1967. Bruce went into the Army in May of 1968. After his tour in Vietnam he was transferred to Fort Riley, Kansas. In January 1972, he was discharged and we moved to Tucson, Arizona and he was employed by the United States Postal Service. Bruce was a wonderful husband and father. He was very involved in coaching both sons on the many sports teams they played. His older son, Craig, developed his love for writing and enthusiasm for gunsmithing. They have both been published. Bruce also loved music and played several instruments. His younger son, Bruce Jr., inherited his musical abilit ies. Bruce also was an avid model railroader. Unfortunately, he passed away too early, at the age of 37, from Coronary Artery Disease due to exposure from Agent Orange in Vietnam. He is still greatly missed today.
