Thomas Patrick Scholz
Thomas Patrick Scholz was born in Chicago, Ill to Charles and Agnes Scholz on June 20, 1948 . He went to high school at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, Ill. Tom quit school and worked for awhile before enlisted in the Army in 1968. Tom went to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for basic Training and after that he was sent overseas to Germany because his brother Chuck was in Vietnam with the Marines. Went Chuck came home from Vietnam Tom was sent there in January of 1969 to the 1st Cav at Bein Hoa airbase. He left Vietnam in January 1970. He got married and had several children Worked at Peerless in Louisville, Ky. I met him at the Kokomo annual Vietnam Veterans reunion in Sept 14, 1990. He came to Michigan to live with me and we both gotten a divorce from our other partners then we gotten married. We both felt like we were soulmates. He loved to go fishing every chance he could get and enjoyed hunting as well. We did a lot of things together like going to flea markets and antique shows he also went to a lot of horse shows with me and daughter. He loved the farm which We lived at that I had my house and we rent a house on a lake so he can go fishing as much as he can. Tom was a member of American Legion and DAV and love going to Vietnam Veterans reunions with me. Tom enjoyed life and doing a lot of things. Tom passed away Feb 25, 2013 from Agent Orange issue he had been sick for awhile and going to VA hospital in Battle Creek. We miss Tom a lot and I miss his smile and hugs and being with him. God grant your soul peace Tom I will see you went my time to leave this Earth is up. I love you.
