Mark Daniel Ardelian
Mark Daniel Ardelian was born on August 7, 1949 in Akron, Ohio. He was the third child of Nick and Elizabeth Ardelian and younger brother of Constance and Nick Jr. He was father to Tanya and grandfather to Christopher, Cory, Dylan, and Joey and beloved uncle to Christine, Mathew, Tommy, Libby, and Diamond. He graduated from Firestone High School in June of 1968 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in July of 1968. His duty assignments and major commands were HCO, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, FMF, Camp Lejeune. He was honorably discharged on July 14, 1974. After proudly serving our country as a Marine he moved to Seminole Florida where he owned his own business, Marco Construction. He was a member of the American Legion 273 Madeira Beach. There he helped build a beautiful stone grill pit area for the lodge. Mark was exposed to Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. He bravely fought his final battle but lost to non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma on the 26th day of May Memorial Day) in 2008. He will be remembered and loved for his ready smile, giving heart and gentle ways.
