Biography
David J. Anderson was a proud marine sergeant who served as an Ontos commander with āCā Company, 3rd antitank battalion, 3rd marine division. He served two tours in Vietnam and was awarded with the armed tours Expeditionary medal, Vietnamese Service Medal 3 star, good conduct medal with one star, Navy Commendation Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon. David J. Anderson succumbed to a battle with diffuse histiocytic lymphoma, December 9th, 1984, which was determined to be caused by Agent Orange. He left behind five daughters and 10 grandchildren. We are very proud of his bravery, service, and dedication to our country.
