On the 15 anniversary of CB's death, the VVMF shared these thoughts from his family.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
April 26 ·
Today we honor Charles W. Murnan III of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on this day 15 years ago. He is remembered by his family, who each wrote a special remembrance below:
"Connie (Wife) – Wish you were here, you would be so proud of your kids and their spouses, and WOW you would SO be enjoying your Grandkids!
Cori (Daughter) – He was compassionate, hardworking, goofy and fun. I’m thankful he was my dad.
Kristi (Daughter) – He was selfless, humble, funny and kind. He could make the best out of any situation.
Amanda (Daughter) - He was funny, caring, hard-working and never knew a stranger. His family was so important to him, and his death left a void that is still healing 15 years later.
C.W. (Son) – He was definitely fun-loving and very patient with me and everyone else.
Sandy (Sister) – He was my best friend, and I miss him dearly!
Debbie (Sister) – He was a loving brother, and never knew a stranger."
