Biography
Kenneth was born to Odis and Agnes Akins in Greenwood, SC. He joined the sister Pat and was followed by brothers Larry, Mike and sister Debbie. He served his country with a tour of duty in Vietnam, Korea and twice in Germany. Ken had many interest, including golf, bowling and cooking. He loved NASCAR racing and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Like his father, Ken was a member of the Masons. His occupation in military and civilian life was topographic surveyor. Ken died at his childhood home on December 18, 2002, just 10 days after his 54th birthday. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
