Sealed, unopened greeting card dedicated to U.S. Army Private First Class (PFC) Richard Clayton Ewald. A handwritten inscription upon the obverse surface of the greeting card envelope reads, "Rick Ewald". The artifact was left at The Wall by an anonymous donor between November - December 1987.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

SEALED, UNOPENED GREETING CARD DEDICATED TO U.S. ARMY PRIVATE FIRST CLASS (PFC) RICHARD CLAYTON EWALD. THE OBJECT CONSISTS OF A GREETING CARD HOUSED INSIDE A SEALED, UNOPENED, RECTANGULARLY SHAPED ENVELOPE COMPRISED OF YELLOW COLORED PAPER WITH A TRIANGULARLY SHAPED, ADHESIVE CLOSURE FLAP AT THE REVERSE OBJECT SURFACE. AN INSCRIPTION HANDWRITTEN IN BLACK INK AND CURSIVE SCRIPT AT THE CENTER OF THE OBVERSE OBJECT SURFACE OF THE ENVELOPE READS, "RICK EWALD".
