This Father’s Day, VVMF is assisting Sons and Daughters in Touch in holding a virtual ceremony to honor their fathers who are inscribed on The Wall. We hope you’ll join us in this virtual Father’s Day commemoration by sending in a video tribute and then coming back here on Sunday, June 21st at 1:00 p.m. to watch the commemoration.
Every Father’s Day, VVMF remembers fathers on The Wall, those service members on The Wall who never had a chance to come home and start a family as well as those fathers who later died as a result of their service in Vietnam. This year, we will continue with our tradition of laying roses at The Wall on Father’s Day but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only a limited number of VVMF staff will lay the roses. We invite you to sponsor a rose with a personal message and VVMF staff will be honored to lay a rose for your loved one.
