Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever....

If any Family members or Friends of Luis reads this, I am looking for a Picture of him to send to W.DC. for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
It would be nice to have a Picture of him to put with his Name.

Luis is buried in the Long Island National Cemetery.

Army Private First Class Colon was killed in action in the Vietnam War. Luis served with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry (Screaming Eagles), 101st Airborne Division.

Luis, you were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Luis.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
