To the uncle I never got to meet but will never forget
Uncle George, my mom speaks of and describes you as Superman. A man full of honor, duty, love, and respect. I love listening to her talk about the greatest big brother she ever had. She named my brother after you as a way for your legacy to carry on. When I found out my first child was a boy I immediately wanted to name him after you. And I did. I tell my son all the time where his name came from and the type of man you were. Visiting your memorial today fills my heart will sadness (for missing out of meeting you) and pride (that I am related to such a great man). While you are missed every day, you will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts.
