Thank You and God Bless.
Gerald I just wanted to thank you for the ultimate sacrifice for our country. You and the 30 other Levittown brothers that did also. I believe you may have graduated ITHS from some info I got on the web. I still need to confirm H.S. and graduation date for this project I am doing. I am going to The Wall to trace your name as well as the 30 other Fallen Heroes and give them to the Levittown museum for our history of your sacrifice for us. I will also post all this information on the Levittown group pages on FB. I am also an Airborne brother of yours, "airborne all the way" my friend. Rest in Peace you have earned it.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SSGT Gerald Cohen, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
