THE WALL OF FACES

Bill Cleverley is seated in the first row of this photo, second from the left. This group photo of the Varsity Cross Country team, taken from our 1967 Redford High School yearbook, captures his wonderful smile that was always such a big part of him.

I knew Bill and his family from Holcomb Elem. through Redford High. I lived two blocks from him. We played a lot of baseball at Stout Park and in Little League. His sister Ann was a friend of my wife Sandra for many years. Its a shame his life was cut short at a early age. He is sorely missed and will never be forgotten. Someday we will meet again in a better place.

I first met Bill in grade school at Holcomb Elementary in Detroit...it's hard to imagine that we were all so young back then, before world events would touch us so deeply. You are remembered by me, Bill, and by other classmates from long ago. You joined other classmates of ours lost in that distant land...like Donald Kuzilla from Redford High School. You will live on in our memories, until we meet again.
