honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Joe Clerkin (My PBR Partner in Vietnam)
We trained and fought the enemy for 300 patrols. Nothing can ever separate my wonderful memories of our friendship and trust as leader of our River Patrol Boats. Love and miss you forever. Ron Branney ([email protected])

In your honor Joe Clerkin
I never met Joe Clerkin, he was my father’s (Len Cardone) older brother! My Dad talks about him still and I am sorry to have missed out on growing up with him and his family. As another Memorial Day passes, my family honors the fallen for our freedom-we will not forget you!
