My Team Leader

I was with Ron the day he was killed, we had just left our NDP on the last day of our mission when he stepped on a mine. SP4 Headley was severly wounded and was walking directly behind Ron. I was the 3rd man of the 5 man team. I got Headley medivaced and then got the rest of the team out back to Quang Tri. Not a day goes by that I don't think of Ron and the rest of my team from Echo 1/11. He was a great friend and a good Sgt.

Great Buddy

I had the pleasure of serving with Ron in Ft. Benning GA and again in Quang Tri Vietnam with the 5th Infantry Division. To correct the information on Ro he was not killed in Darlac Province. Ron stepped on a land mine approximately 6 miles west of Quang Tri Combat base in Quang Tri Province
