Thanks

Dear Cpl Donald Christy,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Happy Thanksgiving. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Semper Fii

I was in recruit training with Don, !st Battalion, Platoon 165 in San Diego. Not much time for making friends in boot camp, but I remember he was a solid Marine, no complaints, just a get it done attitude.

Don, Semper Fi

Good radioman, good man, good Marine, and all around good guy. Friendly with everyone (except the bad guys). I was 3d Platoon Corpsman, and saw you after you were hit. Thought you might survive, and you might have if we had gotten any medevacs that day. But it did not happen. I have one pic of you that I will upload - if it works, you are facing the camera, no shirt. The pic was a week or so before 6/2. You are not forgotten, Don. We still talk about you at our company reunions. Semper Fi.
