Cpl. Croquette was my junior D.I. In th fall of '64. He was professional, ultra
"squared away" and the ideal model of a marine. He once told the platoon "We should honor God, country, and the Marine Corps. Some people get the last two reversed but never the first." I never forgot that and hope to someday see Bob. He was someone to respect and honor.....

DI of Platoon 335, Summer 1965 Parris Island
I am saddened to find that SSgt Choquette was KIA in Quang Nam. He was one of the DIs in my platoon (335) which graduated August 1965 when he was an E5.
I served with the 3/1 in VietNam in 1966 and I owe my survival to the training he taught me. God Bless you Sarge! Semper Fi,
