Don Was My Bro
Fraternity brothers, that is, at The University of Wyoming. Don was known as One of The Crazy Rock Springs Guys. Great guy! Really funny! When I was drafted in 1967 and sent to Vietnam, I lost track of Don, and I didn't know that he went to Vietnam. It was very upsetting to learn of his death.

A Great Soldier
I had the honor of serving with Don for over two months as his platoon leader in Vietnam. He was everything we wanted in a leader: fearless, competent, physically tough, and truly cared for his men. The day he and six others in my platoon died was the saddest day of my life. May we never forget his and others sacrifice so many decades ago. God bless Don’s family.
