Remember the hikes and the campouts, Ron, of St. Dominic Savio's scout troop? You were a year older than me but I remember you.

Dear Cpl Ronald Child,
Thank you for your service as a Tracked Vehicle Amphibian Tractor Repairer. Veterans' Day just passed.. Thank you for your service. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Knew Ron in boot, MCRD Aug. '66. Very good friend. Outstanding individual and Marine. Always think of him.
