Bunkie

I was Irv's bunkmate in OCS and was immediately called "Bunkie" by my soon to be good pal "Cheno". We went to Panama for Jungle Training and then off to Vietnam. Cheno was one of the honor grads in Panama, and was always full of positive energy and great to be with.

He Is Not Forgotten

Irv was in the part of our class that went straight to Viet Nam, while the rest went to other assignments. I was at Ft. Riley, KS when I saw the notice in the Army Times that Irv had fallen. I still grieve for the loss. To his family, know that he was well-liked and highly respected by all of us in 514-68.

Classmate

Irv was a classmate of mine in 514-68. I arrived in Vietnam about the time he died. He was a good officer and well liked by me and his other classmates. May he rest in peace and let his country always be grateful for his sacrifice.
