I never got to meet you or your sister, my grandmother, but I want to say thank you for your sacrifice. My dad, collis copous 111(a.k.a. sonny), just shared a story of you so I figured I'd look you up. Thank you again! So glad this memorial is here for our greatly loved veterans!

Dear SFC Billy Charles,
Thank you for your service as a Ranger Qualified Infantryman. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

He never got to meet me, but I'm his great-granddaughter. He never even got to meet my mother or even see my grandfather grow up. Even if I never personally knew him, I feel like I did. I'm proud to be related to Billy Charles and tell his story. I can't wait to meet him again in Heaven one day.
