Bad Day

I was overhead with others in our unit the day we lost Doug Chaney and three other good men. We could not recover the remains until after dark, and the enemy was still shooting at us. It was a long, bad day.

Doug as a small child I still remember you in your little league uniform. I still cherish that memory. The war was cruel, you were caught up in it. Just knowing you could fly a helicopter was simply amazing. May you rest in peace with your Mom and Dad.
