Dear Captain Charles Chandler,
Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I miss you so very much from year to year and am very proud you are my brother. I am thinking of you today, as I do most everyday. I wish I could be funny like Bill Sapp, another fine,fine person. But, I can't. My sorrow from losing you is always fresh for me, even after all these years. Just as you can't have your lost years given back, it's as fresh for me as the day I was told you were gone. I will be glad to see you again. Happy Birthday in Heaven my sweet brother.
