THANK YOU

Dear PFC Eugene Cauley,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dad

EJ is my dad. He was killed when I was 2 years old. I never got the opportunity to get to know him. I wish I would have. I have to just listen to others stories about him. Guess I'll have to wait until I get to heaven......... RIP

Eugene "EJ" Cauley

Thoughts on Memorial Day 2015 - many thanks to all who have given the supreme sacrifice to our country! In particular, I'm remembering EJ, a classmate of mine in the Pahokee Class of 1966. In just a year, we'll have a 50 year reunion of those classmates of ours who have survived. EJ was one who didn't, just a kind young man, who spoke with all, and always had that smile on his face, never an unkind word - thanks, EJ, we'll remember you, now and forever.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Eugene Cauley Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
