Thanks

Dear PFC Arturo Cauble,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 70th birthday was a few weeks ago, happy birthday. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Honoring Your Service

We were cousins as my mother is a Cauble. My g-g-grandfather was Charles M. Cauble who ranched in the Lamesa/Big Spring area prior to moving to Albany, Texas. I was only 10 when you gave your life for your country. Last summer, my wife, Amy, and I finally visited The Wall. We were both very touched knowing you were there. As long as we live, we will never forget you or the thousands who died there. Being a soldier myself, I know you will always be honored in the hearts of those like me.

May you rest in peace Arturo. I am proud to be your kinship.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Arturo Alvarado Cauble, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
