Rest in Peace Danny
Flew as an FO with Danny out of the Oasis in Pleiku Province in 1968. I accompanied the search party that found the crash site of his OH6 helicopter East of the Oasis. He was returning from Duc Co Special Forces Camp at night, and in bad weather. He was also fixed wing qualified and I flew many hours with him in the back seat of an L19 on and near the Cambodian and Laotian borders. He was one of the finest aviators I have ever met and I have been haunted by his death since August 13, 1968. Our Country lost so much with his passing and much, much more than just an accomplished aviator and soldier. He was truly loved!

Thank you for your sacrifice. I am the Director of Strength and Conditioning at GW. Our Men's Basketball team trains on the national mall and visits the wall each workout to remember heroes like yourself. We found your name on 7/29/16. You have fallen but are not forgotten. We remember you.
