A part of my family

Ron was my sister Sharon's boyfriend. They were engaged before he was drafted into the army. I remember they tried to get married the last two day's he had before being shipped out, but for some reason the marriage license was incomplete, and they couldn't. They plannned on getting married on his first leave. Then word came he was killed just a short time after being deployed. I'll always remember what I felt that day at his funeral. He was a great guy. I wish he were still with us. God bless you Ron. We miss you.

Can't forget that day!!!!!!!!!!

We talked on his last day in Ben Het. I liked him as a person. He was very nice and easy to talk to. I was a boy from Detroit and I am very proud to have known Carter a boy that obeyed orders under adverse circumstances.
